Another fast-paced, Norcross romantic suspense, and this time it’s the sister, Gia, who the bad guys are after. Gia has a big forgiving heart, and when she tries to help her high school friend, Willow, Gia is the one who ends up in boiling water, but luckily her brother’s best friend Saxon is more than ready to take the next step and get serious with Gia if he can keep her safe.
The reason I love Hackett’s books is that she never fails to deliver. When I’m ready for a short, intense, steamy romantic suspense, she is my go-to author. A straightforward story fueled with humor and passion. I enjoy the sense of warmth and love within the family’s dynamics.
Overall, The Troubleshooter was a fun read with memorable characters, suspense, and a steamy romance.
