Kindle Kween’s Book of the Month

Book Review: Transference

(A Montgomery Series Standalone Novel)

“What is your relationship with her like now?” “She needs me all the time. My phone rings all day, every day. A new ailment. A new diagnosis. A new second opinion.” “So, basically you have become the mother?” “Yes.” “And who takes care of you?”

― Ava Harrison, Transference

Goodreads Synopsis

A new author and a new trope for me as I’ve never read a therapist/patient story. An emotionally damaged love story but a fantastic read. I would’ve given this book 5-stars but the Mother-Daughter relationship was a trigger for me and I only give 4-stars to books I want to re-read.

Intense, anxiety-filled, and very well written this book drew me in immediately.

I also got the audio-book, but I didn’t care for the voices.
