The Slam by Haleigh Lovell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A heroine with a unique challenge and a bond with our hero that goes from friendly to sizzling… but in no way quick or easy.
I adored Adelaide. She’s on the autism spectrum, but she is in NO way unrelatable. She’s quirky and smart, and she doesn’t have a filter, which is HILARIOUS. She’s also super athletic, and her brilliant, overly analytical mind both helps and hurts her at times.
Ender is a broody, swoon-worthy, sexy as sin hero. He’s a tennis star, he’s a badass, he doesn’t do relationships, but he’s been Adelaide’s “bosom buddy” since childhood. Only now they’re in college, and quirky Adelaide has blossomed into a sexy lady.
Their love story is so fun and unique, and Adelaide is so endearing. The sex is smoking hot. I absolutely loved this couple together.
It’s the perfect blend of sexy, sweet, funny… and you just might come away smarter for reading it. (Thanks, Adelaide!)
All in all, a five-star MUST read!!!
Another SLAM (dunk) for Haleigh Lovell!
